Greetings! My name is Melissa Whalen, and I create lovely things based on my current "whim". I studied at Columbus College of Art and Design and The University of Louisville before I became an educator with an MAT in Early Childhood Education. I am currently taking time to run a busy household, and I maintain my sanity with my business, Artist Whim. I use nap time, free play time and, really, any other time I can to create unique, handcrafted items for customers who want quality with just a bit of whimsy.
Online Store: While I do have an Etsy and Square store front, nothing is currently listed. After a lot of trial, error, and thought, I have decided to no longer maintain an online store. However, I am very active on Instagram, and I do post most of my makes there. If you see something you need in your life, please reach out to see if it is available for you to puchase.
Custom Orders: I am currently in a position to make what my "whim" dictates and am no longer accepting custom orders. I'm certain I am bound to make something you love as much as I do.
